The Downtown Orlando Restaurant Crawl – Annie’s
Annie’s has got to be at the top of the list for Mediterranean cuisine in downtown. It’s got all the elements of a swank downtown oasis couple with some pretty formidable yum-yums.
ATMOSPHERE: Want a quiet dinner downtown? This is the place. It’s empty and quiet around 8 with jazzy tunes softly carrying your conversations. If you work downtown this is also a great place to grab a tasty lunch, although, less of a dim, sultry, jazzy, speakeasy during that portion of the day.
PRODUCT: The food here is traditional Mediterranean offered in a streamlined format. It’s a perfect introduction if you’re new to this food, but if you’re not it’s easy to get your hands on the staples you know and love like a gyro or a falafel and tabouli.
PRICE: Not too cheap but it won’t hurt to hand over your card here either. We paid 41.91 an appetizer, two drinks, and meals for two.
HOSPITALITY: The staff here is always friendly and will ensure you have a great experience. They are consistently timely and pleasant and I have nothing but praise for them.
LOCATION: Annie’s is in the heart of downtown on Orange Avenue (by the Fiat dealer!)
