The Downtown Orlando Restaurant Crawl – Gringos Locos
Gringos Locos is downtown casual Mexican inspired grub made by crazy white (and other) guys.
ATMOSPHERE: This place is like a dive bar in the best possible way. While it’s not the place I recommend getting plastered at; it’s got that cool familiarity of your favorite bar. Funny staff, casual dress, and yummy food define the restaurant.
PRODUCT: Good Mexican food. This is the destination if you want to fill up for cheap on warm sticky queso, fresh veggies and guac, and cool fresh sour cream. The condiments are paired up with flavorful Mexican rice and tender marinated chicken, pork, and beef.
PRICE: We paid 13.58 for two soft drinks, two tacos, and a burrito as big as my forearm. Pretty good.
HOSPITALITY: The staff here gets your meal made quick at the counter and will make you laugh during the process. The hospitality here is grade A.
LOCATION: Gringos Locos can be found in the heart of downtown on East Washington Street across from the Regions building.
