TREASURER OF OVIEDO-WINTER SPRINGS CHAMBER HONORED WITH PUBLIX SUPER MARKETS AWARD
OVIEDO, Fla. (Feb. XX, 2013) —Gary Bouton, treasurer of The Oviedo-Winter Springs Regional Chamber of Commerce, is one of five recipients to be honored with the 2012 George W. JenkinsAward from Publix Super Markets. The prestigious award, named for Publix’s late founder, is the company’s highest honor. Bouton is the store manager of the Publix located at the Tuscawilla Bend Shopping Center in Oviedo.
As a recipient of the Jenkins Award, he has demonstrated leadership skills, self-development, training and promotion of others, as well as community participation. Other award criteria include gross and net profit, sales, safety, productivity and meeting or exceeding company goals.
“We’re extremely pleased to promote Gary’s achievement,” said Cory Skeates, president of the Chamber. “Both Mr. Bouton and Publix have been wonderful supporters and assets to the Oviedo-
Winter Springs community. Their efforts are invaluable to our sustaining growth in the area.”
